Sweat Equity

From the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering co-founder and lifelong buckaroo Waddie Mitchell is Sweat Equity, an album of cowboy poetry. On these fourteen tracks are yarns and poems drawing from several sources of inspiration. While many take from life out on the ranges, Mitchell’s poems also come from the personal and the universal, offering the cowboy’s perspective on parenting, courtship, hard times, and more. Sweat Equity is a mix of studio and live recordings, recorded at the Western Jubilee Warehouse Theater in Colorado Springs, The Ranger Station in Berthoud, and Rotosonic Sound in Salt Lake City.
