The World of Man, Vol. 2: Religions

This second installment in the World of Man series listens in on the ritualized music-making of religious groups from around the world as they express their devotion to the “original source of all natural wonders.” The dozen recordings presented here could not be more diverse; they range from reverent songs of the Ituri forest Pygmies to intricate chants of Japanese Buddhists.
