Kin to the Wind

Kin to the Wind is Don Edwards’ tribute to Marty Robbins, one of the most influential country Western stars of the 20th century. While Edwards cites traditional old time as the strongest influence on his career, he acknowledges the pop-oriented Robbins as a constant, unconscious presence throughout his music-making. As a result, Kin to the Wind offers a junction of Edwards’ old-time influences with Robbins pop Western sensibilities. Among those joining Edwards in his tribute to Robbins are Rich O’Brien and Tom Morrell.
