English Romantic Poetry

Among the leading lights of Romantic poetry in early 19th-century Great Britain were William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and John Keats. In this collection, actor John S. Martin reads 16 poems including Wordsworth’s “Composed upon Westminster Bridge, September 2, 1802,” Coleridge’s “Kubla Khan,” Shelley’s “Ode to the West Wind,” and Keats’ “Ode to a Nightingale.” The liner notes include the text of the poems.
