Fishers Hornpipe and Other Celtic Traditional Tunes

Released in 1977, this recording by Fox Watson and Laurie Diehl includes some of the Celtic tradition’s best—loved tunes, including "Drowsy Maggie," "Lark in the Morn," and "The Salamanca." Fox, an instrumentalist and songwriter who spent many years collecting fiddle tunes in New England and Canada, is accompanied by Diehl’s complex finger picking on guitar. Liner notes include artist biographies and information on each tune, including where and from whom Fox first learned them.
