Hungarian State Folk Ensemble

Together with a clarinet and the rich sounds of stringed instruments, the Hungarian Folk Ensemble's chorus is showcased on this album. The first track was written by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály, who is perhaps most renowned for his influence on children's music education worldwide. All of the songs in this collection are dance tunes. The liner notes include a brief explanation of Hungarian music, a short biography of the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble, and descriptions of the tracks.
