Songs of the Watutsi

The Watutsi are a pastoral ethnic group from Rwanda. While drums are an important feature of Watusi music—and among them drums are played with sticks rather than with the hands—Songs of the Watutsi offers instead a collection of Watutsi ballads, love songs, genealogies, hunting songs, war songs, and epics.
